KNOCKERS! Karl Lagerfeld’s Fall 2017 Chanel Show in Paris beautifully illustrated one of the best use of metallic silver in a collection during this year’s Fashion Month. PLUS, Lagerfeld had a rocket launch right in the middle of his runway. Amazing! The chic looks harkened back to a mixture of 1960s Jane Fonda’s Barbarella, a fashionable futuristic Judy Jetson with a touch of Emma Peel’s The Avengers spy chic, and of course, the timeless Chanel tweeds – all with touches ( a little bit and a lot) of metallic silver running throughout the collection. KNOCKERS! What to wear to work when it is still hot as Hades outside and winter has yet to come? I live in an area where it’s either very hot or very cold, and Fall is short-timing it to Winter. Planning your #OOTD can be challenging when you need coverage for the cool mornings and early evenings, and removable layers for the hot afternoons.
I’m wearing NY Collection’s handkerchief hem, beige and black polka dot dress. I layered it with a long sweater and beige and gold heeled sandals.

KNOCKERS! Oh My Quad, I’m definitely “feeling myself” after my morning workout! Pre-workout, all I did was spritz my hair with water (to hydrate and lift my hair away from my scalp), finger fluff; then work out and sweat for these popping post-workout curls!
Working Out the Kinks: Natural Hair on the Run
For maintenance, I prefer to “wash and go” daily with conditioner, or just water and styling products to rinse away the sweat and product buildup; I clarify with shampoo and deep condition every 7-10 days. Depending on my mood, I may wrap my hair in a scarf/sweatband or pull it up into a curly pony for additional protection/style during my workouts.

Workout gear can be expensive, so look for good quality bargains at Ross or Target and/or your favorite thrift store; I purchased my workout leggings from Goodwill (they were brand new with original price tag attached).
