KNOCKERS!

Winter IS Coming! And if you’re like me and live in a region with (almost) perpetual summer, then BAM, winter – thinking about fall fashion trends and what to buy, is like thinking that dragons and white walkers won’t eat you, you’re just not ready. So dipping a freshly polished toe in the cold sea of the Frozen Shore of fall fashion trends, one trend stands out for me: DUSTER COATS!

Yes, I typed that in all-caps, because I’ve been waiting for this trend to return since Boy George and the Culture Club‘s first hit. Check out my denim duster from the early 80’s, waiting for just this moment to come (back) out of the closet.

I’m digging the modern duster vest as well:

Stalk, Knock and Rock It: Crochet-Lace, a lighter weight, more modern fabrication that’s a combination of the macramé/crochet/lacy doily look currently popping up in the fashion scene as part of the revival of the 70’s rock music festival look. I’m rocking this black “Clace” or (should it be “Crochla”?) dress at Macy’s for under $30. So Knockers, what do you think?
